During this exciting encounter with elephants in the park, you will be able to witness these beautiful creatures as they travel into the grasslands alongside the river. The mahouts would chop and gather grass for the elephants to eat during the day there. While the early mist lends a mysterious touch, you may have a hot cup of traditional Nepali tea while watching the elephants feed.

Furthermore, if you're feeling adventurous, you can try cutting and bundling the grass yourself, discovering that it's more challenging than the professional mahouts make it look!

Later in the afternoon, when the weather is pleasant, you'll go on a forest stroll with the elephants and their mahouts. You'll be observing their movements, feeding habits, and listening to their rumbling and trumpeting communication as you walk beside these gentle giants. A professional naturalist will give insights into the local ecology during the excursion, explaining all you want to know as you travel the forest, grasslands, and marshes with the elephants.

Depending on the route you choose, you may come across tiger footprints, deer, a variety of bird species, and, if you're lucky, even a rhinoceros or two.

The elephants you see live in a vast, chain-free habitat, providing them freedom and immersing you in their everyday lives. Even as the day fades into night, the elephants' presence will be felt through their vocalizations and infrasonic transmissions, producing an experience that genuinely unites you with these majestic beasts on an intimate level.
